Gulf Coast Italian American Cultural Society

Gulf Coast Italian American Cultural Society

The website built for the Gulf Coast Italian American Cultural Society of Gulf Port, Mississippi. The GCIACS is looking to drive membership and to gather together persons of Italian heritage (“paisani”) along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and enhance their appreciation and knowledge of Italian language and culture.

GCIACS supports charitable events that benefit the local community, such as a Bocce Tournament to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of South Mississippi. We also sponsor artistic and cultural activities of Italian origin in the community. Membership helps nurture strong family traditions and preserves the rich culture that your heritage has provided.

We, at Bayou Web Design+, really focused on the news and events sections of the website. Having sections that display “featured news” or “Latest News” will help keep members up-to-date about the group. As of now, the board has decided to attach membership applications ad .PDF files so that potential members may print and mail in their applications. However, it is in the future that the board may consider adding secure forms in which the potential applicants can submit their information and membership dues through a secure and encrypted page.

Visit gciacs.org to see their new website that we have built for them.

Please share this portfolio with someone you know looking for a affordable and dependable web design company or someone who owns their own business and may benefit from having a web page design. Thank you!

Client

Gulf Coast Italian American Cultural Society

Mr. Mario Feloa contacted us to create a new website for the Gulf Coast Italian American Cultural Society. The board members were looking to reach out to the community and build upon their membership. They also wanted to communicate what charities and events were in planning and share the knowledge and provide access to an application for a scholarship that the GCIACS offers. You can contact Mr. Feola by visiting his new website at gicacs.org! Take a look at his new site designed by yours truly at Bayou Web Design+!

Our Task

Task

Our client asked for a site in which his members could easily contact them, find news of upcoming events, offer membership forms, and to share all of the goings on of the organization. The board members wanted a place for potential members to go and find all of the information that they need.
